Despite the Reverend John LaVoie’s claims that his massage parlor/spa provided only faith-based “laying on of hands” services to its clients, he’s recently been convicted of 22 counts of racketeering, money-laundering and other offenses related to prostitution in a civil forfeiture.

I’ve been playing around with a website called Yearbook Yourself, where you upload a picture and it photoshops it into yearbook pictures from various years. Here’s what I came up with.

I can’t decide which one is the best.

They’ve finished blasting and have almost finished clearing it out. I for one will welcome the return of mornings not punctuated by the sounds of solid rock being drilled, small explosions, and chunks of rock being picked up and loaded into a truck:

A while ago I posted an article from The Local about a teacher who’d been reprimanded for offering cat food to her students. The teacher fought back and I’m happy to report that common sense has prevailed and the reprimand has been withdrawn:

It looks like there’s still a lot of that big rock left. I wonder how long this blasting and removal process will continue.
